X-COPY Technology
X-COPY Technology was developed and patented by NEXTODI. It is the core technology to improve the backup speed. It takes only 40 second to backup 1GB data from memory card to internal HDD.

SATA HDD
Internal SATA HDD: Built-in High Speed SATA Interface with the max speed of 300 MB/s.
SATA HDD / eSATA Interface: High Speed SATA HDD. As compared to PATA HDD. SATA HDD is more stable and has less power consumption. The data transfer speed of SATA HDD is more than 2 times faster.

PATA HDD has the maximum speed of 133 MB/s and has the 80 line cable and 40 pin connector. SATA HDD has the maximum speed of 150 MB/s (SATA1) and 300 MB/s (SATA2).

eSATA PC interface at 3Gbps with PC connection. ND-2700 supports USB 2.0 and high speed eSATA port. eSATA Interface is much faster than 480Mbps of USB 2.0 and 400Mbps of IEEE1394. It's speed is 3Gbps! With eSATA interface PC uses no CPU power, so ND-2700 is more powerful in Windows VISTA.
